കൂരകെട്ടിക്കൊടുക്കുക, പാര്‍പ്പിടപദ്ധതികള്‍ പലതും അത്രയേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ. അതില്‍നിന്ന് ഭിന്നമായി,  വീട് യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യമാക്കുക എന്നതിനുമപ്പുറം വീട്ടിലെ ഒരാള്‍ക്കെങ്കിലും മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട തൊഴില്‍പരിശീലനം, അടിസ്ഥാനസൌകര്യങ്ങള്‍, വിവിധ സാമൂഹിക സേവനങ്ങള്‍, ചികിത്സയ്ക്കും കുട്ടികളുടെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനുമുള്ള സൌകര്യങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവയെല്ലാം ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതാണ്  'ലൈഫ്' എന്നപേരിലാരംഭിച്ച പദ്ധതി.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The LDF government on Thursday launched four mega missions covering six crucial sectors including housing, environment, waste management, organic farming, education and health. Governor P. Sathasivam launched the four Missions at a state level function here which was followed by a day-long seminar on the present challenges in these sectors.  The Life Mission will make sure of livelihood, inclusion and financial empowerment within five years.
